Haida Sandwich, the Middle East’s largest chain, has set the bar for all of its locations. The Toronto branch has been a fantastic to-go spot for the local community since its inception. That is why it is at the top of our list of restaurants near Lawrence Station. Haida’s growing appeal stems from the fact that it is incredibly accessible and is housed in a distinctive structure.
The menu is intended to include every delectable item that a restaurant has to offer. You can’t say anything about the pizzas because they’re perfectly cooked and garnished with your favourite vegetables. The best pizza is said to be Haida’s trademark pizza. Beef & Chicken Deli, Mozzarella Cheese, Beef Sausage, Mushroom, Green Pepper, and Olive are among the ingredients. They’re happy to showcase their special sauce, elevating the flavour profile of all sandwiches and best pizzas.
This restaurant’s specialty is cold-cut sandwiches. If you want to bring your lunch to work, they are ideal. In this category, make sure to sample the lamb special. Lamb deli, tomato, potato sticks, lettuce, and a unique sauce are all included. Furthermore, simply gazing at the oven-roasted sandwiches will make your mouth wet. I strongly advise you to taste the delectable Haida Royal.
The restaurant’s interior design is expertly furnished, giving it a Persian feel. The covered terrace offers a one-of-a-kind opportunity to take in the view outdoors. The waitresses are accommodating and pleasant to all guests. If you’re in the region, don’t miss out on this opportunity.

Located on Yonge and Lawrence, Parmigiano Trattoria is your favourite Italian restaurant near Lawrence Station. Parmigiano Trattoria serves delectable cuisine with a distinct Italian flavour. Whatever you’re desiring, large or small, they’ve got you covered! Try the Eggplant Parmigiano or the Garlic Shrimp as an appetizer, Spaghetti Bolognese, Veal or Chicken Marsala, or Manicotti Pasta if you have a more robust appetite. They are available for lunch and dinner.
Various mouthwatering dishes are offered at both the lunch menu and dinner menu, including Appetizers, Seafood Pasta, Lunch, Vegetarian Pasta, Baked Pasta, Meat Pasta, Sandwiches and Main Courses, plus some Pizza options exclusive to dinner. I highly recommend Veal Parmigiano on the Main section consisting of lightly breaded veal breast topped with mozzarella cheese and baked in tomato sauce, served with vegetables and a choice of pasta or roasted potatoes.
Parmigiano Trattoria has got a classic Italian décor and contains multiple tables. The restaurant is well-organized and hygienic. The staff is very kind and puts all their efforts into providing the most desirable service for you and your party. The prices are affordable comparing to similar Italian restaurants, plus the portions are adequate on all options.

Located at 3185 Yonge St, This welcoming neighbourhood bar welcomes people from all walks of life near Lawrence Station. With a more sophisticated appearance, fresh handmade meals, and affordable rates. The atmosphere is that of a cozy neighbourhood tavern. There is a circular bar near the front with a few regulars, high-top tables near the bar, and booths in the rear.
The Chicken Pot Pie, which is served to steam hot, is one of my favourites. Although the crust on top is a little overcooked, the chicken, peas, carrots, and gravy underneath is a beautiful, savoury blend. The 8 lb patty on the Pub House Burger had a great char. Each mouthful featured texture, crunch, sweetness, and sourness thanks to the addition of smoked bacon, applewood cheddar, lettuce, tomato, and a maple bourbon ancho BBQ sauce.
Pubs may sometimes be gloomy places with old beer odours on the carpet. Other times, their dining space is similar to The Uptown Pub House: brilliantly light and carpet-free, which appeals to some. The customer service is the highlight of the restaurant being so helpful and accommodating. The employees are amicable and fun to interact with. Make sure you give this hidden gem a try; you certainly won’t regret it.

Situated at 3192 Yonge St, Joy Thai Restaurant is a low-key joint serving Southeast Asian standards, including pad Thai & curries in a simple storefront near Lawrence Station. They provide genuine Thai cuisine that Joy has developed throughout her time living and working in Thailand. As you relax in their Thai beach-themed dining rooms, you’ll be met by pleasant personnel who are happy to serve you. You’ll feel like you’re on vacation in one of Pattaya’s many beach resorts with the atmosphere of candlelight and mellow Thai music.
A variety of finger-licking noodles is served at Joy. For instance, the Pad Thai Hor, this stir-fried noodle, is well-known among patrons. It consists of egg, crushed peanut, special sauce, bean sprouts and green onion. The entrées options also feature diversity and quality. I suggest ordering Pad Talay (Stir-Fried Seafood) consisting of curry paste, coconut milk, basil, and bell pepper (No choice of meat). Many other dishes are available for your subsequent visits to be more adventurous.
Joy Thai Restaurant is clean and well-organized. The staff is extremely kind and goes out of their way to ensure that you and your guests receive the best possible service. Compared to similar Thai restaurants, the pricing is reasonable, and the servings on all menu items are sufficient. Make sure you visit this gem.

Stack Restaurant is a gleaming new beacon on Yonge Street, north of Lawrence, in a neighbourhood already teeming with eateries. Stack’s ambitious two-story dining area (with its tiny Yonge Street facing terrace) is a blend of diner meets smokehouse in a modern and elegant setting and is anchored by a gorgeous 1,200 pound Southern Pride smoker. Its high popularity and convenient location to Lawrence Station forced us to feature it in this list.
Stack Restaurant was conceived as a trendy burger establishment, but owners Todd Savage and Bill Panos opted to broaden the menu to appeal to the neighbourhood’s growing family-friendly clientele. Tacos, perhaps? Check it out. Do you want to make a Pear and Prosciutto Salad? No trouble at all. Stack’s real focus is the smoker, and after months of testing and tasting (and a couple of menu modifications after their first debut), they’ve created a Memphis-style meat jackpot, so leave the salads at home and indulge in the smokey goodness that reigns supreme over the green platters. Only local beers are on tap at Stack, and the selection is rotated every month or so with a new brew to keep things interesting. There’s also a comprehensive wine list, as well as Jones Soda pops and floats.
Stack, which took over the former Sorrento Ristorante, isn’t what you’d expect to see in a traditional smokehouse. Warm wood floors contrast with enormous flat-screen televisions. The chic decor sets them apart from the competitors (Gabby’s is next door, while Wildfire is up the block). Private parties (often held upstairs) are welcome at Stack, which accepts bookings of all sizes. However, Stack is not wheelchair accessible. Stop searching for eateries; this is the one.

Pizza Nova has been serving great pizzas in Ontario since 1963, using fresh, locally sourced ingredients and traditional recipes and preparation processes. This Pizza Nova store on Yonge St is a great to-go restaurant near Lawrence Station because of its unusual location. Puro Promise is the core of all they do since they only obtain their products from farmers and suppliers that share their dedication to quality.
Nova has a large selection of high-quality pizzas. Classic, Pesto, Plant-Based Pepperoni, and White Pizzas are the four types of pizzas available. It’s undoubtedly worth tasting their Classic Banquet Cheddar. Ground beef, bacon, cheddar, and cheddar cheese make up this dish. Furthermore, Meat Supreme, which includes pepperoni, bacon, ground beef, and special spicy sausages, is the best pizza in town. Plant-Based Pepperoni Pizzas with a large number of toppings each have their following. They employ different ovens and equipment for gluten-free choices, demonstrating their devotion to their clients’ needs.
The inside is warm and straightforward, making it ideal for takeaway. Nova is one of the most incredible pizza shops with the most satisfactory customer service because of its attention. The restaurant’s welcoming crew has been providing customers a good time. They’re pleased with how quickly they’re expanding, and they’re eager to service new customers, so give them a visit.

Located at 3220 Yonge St, MAIZ Yonge serves bold artisanal Latin American fare like arepas and churros to the people near Lawrence Station. There are also extravagant churro sundaes and Latin drinks. Chef Fernando Sequeda’s goal to introduce authentic, organic foods from his experience working in kitchens throughout Latin America to Toronto is reflected in the name Maiz.
A mild green “Guasacaca,” which is allegedly required with arepas in Venezuela, black bean japan “La Negra,” fiery “Arbol” sauce, and a habanero BBQ are among the four organic home salsas available. All of these Restaurant items are available here as well. The Pabellon crams an entire traditional Venezuelan dinner (Pabellon Criollo, also offered here) of shredded beef, black beans, sweet and crisp fried plantain, and cotija cheese into one sloppy arepa. Camarilla al Tequila is the main course of large, juicy tequila-flambeed shrimp with spicy house habanero salsa, rice, and tortillas. You’re supposed to eat them all at once, like a taco.
The interior décor is a touch out there, with many neon, twinkly lights, cactus, and sombreros, yet it’s clean, tidy, and most importantly, exploding with colour and enthusiasm. MAIZ occupies a unique cozy building yet presents many tables avoiding any swamped crowds during the rush hours. The employees are amicable and kind and help you with any conveniences. Ensure you get to experience an evening at this compelling restaurant.

In the Yonge and Lawrence Station neighbourhood, Trio Ristorante Pizzeria is a relatively inconspicuous galley-style restaurant. While inconspicuous might sometimes indicate a hidden gem, it might also mean another eatery resting on its laurels. The trio has been operating for six years, taking over from yet another dead Italian restaurant—Mangia. Eduardo and Giovanni are owned by two Italian gentlemen who alternate between the back and front of the house (to keep their creative juices going).
It’s a touch of everything for everyone, with pizzas, pasta, salads, seafood, and steaks on the menu, which is a classic business model in family-friendly neighbourhoods: appeal to everyone and play it safe. The drink selection is dominated by red wines, nearly all from Italy, with a few whites and a Prosecco thrown in for good measure. There are just three beers on tap: Moretti, Becks, and Paulaner Weissbier, for people who want to match culinary preferences and regions, and an excellent cocktail selection priced at $9 and less.
The rough seats and uneven tables contrast the supposed elegance of the décor, which seems like an upmarket Italian restaurant. The jig is up without tablecloths to formalize the image, though the cloth napkins provide some atonement. The stone-faced wood-burning pizza oven is the room’s main feature. The trio is simply interested in existing, not impressing. The service is kind enough, the cuisine is adequate, and the atmosphere is OK, but this isn’t enough to set them apart from the legions of other Italian bistros in this neighbourhood that compete for mediocrity.

This Pizza Pizza Restaurant establishment, located at 3231 Yonge St, provides excellent service to the Lawrence Station community. Although the city has multiple Pizza Pizza branches, we only showcase one of them, ideally the finest. Pizza Pizza Restaurant is a famous Canadian pizza brand seeking to preserve its reputation while expanding its operations. It’s particularly beneficial to students because the costs are very inexpensive.
They have a broad variety of delectable pizzas divided into different categories to satisfy varied desires on the menu. When it comes to Meat Favorites, Spicy BBQ Chicken is one of the most popular Flavor Corral contenders. Grilled chicken, fiery banana peppers, red onions, Texas BBQ sauce, and mozzarella cheese make up this dish. By adding Frank’s Red Hot, you can make it even spicier. Furthermore, in terms of appeal, the Veggie Favorites goods compete with their meat equivalents. Fresh vegetables will make you fall in love with this place. Pesto Amore is a market-inspired dish that combines fresh spinach, fire-roasted red peppers, red onions, basil pesto sauce, goat cheese, and mozzarella atop a crisp whole-grain crust.
The interior design is open and airy, with clean, well-assembled hardwood seats and tables. Furthermore, Pizza Pizza offers good combinations for online ordering as well as dine-in. The staff is kind and helpful, suggesting things that are more suited to your diet and preferences. It’s a must-see if you’re in the region. Otherwise, you can try one of the franchise’s other locations.

Lime employs cutting-edge techniques to bring you the most delicious cuisines from Asia’s many areas. Executive Chef John Tan creates delectable and fulfilling meals with a solid awareness of local flavours and attention to selecting the finest ingredients.
The lunch and dinner menus both contain exciting items made only from the freshest ingredients. You get to create your lunch combo. Furthermore, many thoughts have been spent on the Noodle Soup Combos, so make sure you try them. So many Vegetarian and Gluten-Free options are available in this restaurant, making it a trendy spot for vegans. If it’s your first time here, try ordering from the Chef’s Signature Dishes list. The wait staff is kind and accommodating. Make a reservation because the majority of the tables are already taken. They will, however, try their utmost to accommodate you. San Francesco Foods Restaurant has been a fixture on the Toronto scene for almost 60 years. San Francesco, a family-owned Italian takeout known for its veal sandwich, has lately succumbed to competition from local stores and larger chains and has been reduced to a single downtown Toronto store near Lawrence Station in recent years (the others exist outside the core).
San Francesco’s food these days is perhaps best described as underwhelming. A small starter/side of Cacciatore – an Italian salami traditionally seasoned with pepper and spices – is available in sweet and spicy varieties and is a recent addition to the menu. San Francesco’s famous hot Italian sandwiches come on fresh Kaiser rolls, offered with either sweet, mild or spicy tomato sauce. However, because the sandwiches are under-sauced, they must rely only on the meat. The meatball sandwich is massive, and as corny as it sounds, your enjoyment of it will most likely be contingent on your fondness for old-school Italian meatballs.
With a stylish bar and great booths, the interior design is flawless. The vast dining hall has plenty of space and tables for both large and small parties. The warm mood is created by dark wood and exquisite stones, and the real-wood fireplace is especially inviting on chilly evenings. The skilled San Francesco team makes every effort to make your stay as pleasant as possible for you and your guests.

Located at 3249 Yonge St. near Lawrence Station, Gamberoni Restaurant is an old-school choice, with chalkboards & checkered tablecloths serving rustic Italian fare. The Colombaro family is grateful for all of their patrons’, friends’, and family’s support and encouragement. They’ve chosen to modify and restructure their business so that they may better serve their community by providing curbside pickup and delivery within a 9-kilometre radius.
Every day, Gamberoni prepares a delectable menu and locally sourced, high-quality ingredients are used. Gamberoni makes its fresh pasta, with a small assortment ranging from gnocchi to tagliolini. Try the ravioli, which are packed with ricotta and spinach and tossed in a traditional butter sage sauce with crispy, succulent asparagus. For an additional RM25, customers can add northern Italian black truffles to complete a rustic dish that is genuinely transporting. While the Boscaiola, topped with meaty-textured duck sausage on a white-base combination of mozzarella and scamorza cheeses (RM46), is powerfully excellent, it’s not nearly as enticing from the crust up as a wood-fired pizza at a time when that’s what’s gaining favour in the neighbourhood.
The tidy artworks on the walls create a delicate mood. The ambiance is fresh, and the tables are strategically placed to create an ample dining space. You should undoubtedly visit this great establishment since the workers are helpful and go out of their way to provide a pleasant dining experience.

Dim Sum Queen offers the option to order dumplings, noodles, shrimp rolls a la carte. This location, near Lawrence Station, is the sister restaurant to Dim Sum King, found in Chinatown. “Touch the heart” is what dim sum implies. Dim sum is an institution in many cities; workplace parties, general get-togethers, and birthdays are scheduled around certain shady sum establishments and carts. In Richmond, these kinds of events aren’t as common. Aside from Full Kee, there aren’t many options for dumplings and steamed buns as in the city.
The usual menu is comparable to those of other restaurants in town but a little more Americanized. Chicken Fried Rice is a little greasy, but it’s packed with white flesh. The pork is bright red in some cases, but it’s plentiful in the double-cooked pork with black bean sauce. Thanks to another Chinese superpower, it has deep-fried salt and pepper ribs hinting at the irritating Sichuan spice famed in the city. Dim sum is served on old-school carts, which adds to the atmosphere. From one service to the following, minor, shareable dishes vary. The first is the traditional buns and dumplings: Har Graw, a light and elegantly wrapped steam shrimp dumpling filled with exquisite pink shrimp.
The former tenant, Mama Wok, is still visible on the inside of Queen’s Dim Sum. On the bar, an aquarium bubble away. The menus are laminated, and the atmosphere is Chinese restaurant miscellany. The hours of push-cart dim sum at Queen’s are a bit elusive. It’s available every day from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m., according to one server. On Sunday, according to another. Call beforehand to avoid the temporary sadness of having to order from a laminated dim sum menu. In any case, it’s a good deal for so many items and so much food.

The Monkey Bar, now in its 24th year, is still North Toronto’s favourite neighbourhood eatery. It is a popular neighbourhood hangout near Yonge and Lawrence Station. The restaurant prepares a diverse range of flavours with influences from Italy, France, and Asia. Grilled calamari with chipotle lime sauce and panko-coated veal schnitzel are among the menu’s highlights. Because your dinner is prepared to order, they can accommodate most allergies and dietary restrictions. They even have a menu for kids.
They provide a modest but fascinating menu diverse enough to cater to various tastes and is skillfully cooked. It consists of numerous Starters and Mains options. If you’re not hungry, the Grilled Calamari is enough to feed you and is wonderfully tasty, containing baby greens and chipotle lime dressing. I highly recommend Braised Puy Lentils from the Mains, consisting of portobello mushroom, spinach, vegetables, hoisin sauce, and crispy tofu. You can also order with grilled chicken or shrimp for an extra $3.
Chef Robert Yeung, who has been with The Monkey Bar for almost a decade, is Chef Richard’s right-hand man in the kitchen. The restaurant has a welcoming ambiance, and the staff is polite and informed. Enjoy a pre-dinner beverage from their specialty cocktail menu or a quality vodka or single malt scotch from their extensive range. Your dining experience is enhanced by a comprehensive wine selection that includes new and old-world wines by the glass, half-litre, and bottle.

Gabby’s has gone a long way to get to where they are now, proudly serving great local neighbourhoods since 1989. This Gabby’s, one of the several Gabby’s locations in Toronto, topped our list today for its outstanding freshly prepared dishes and fantastic draught beer and liquor offerings. Because this restaurant is located at 3263 Yonge St, it is just a few steps from Lawrence Station, making it quite handy to visit from anywhere in Toronto. If you’re in the area, you may as well renew your mind and satisfy your hunger here.
The menus change from time to time, but it may be in their favour because they constantly have outstanding products to offer. The alcohol menu will please you because it includes a large selection of beer, wine, and spirits to suit every taste. The next most remarkable thing about this place is the burgers. Sauteed mushrooms, American cheese, thick and crispy onion rings, shredded lettuce, and tomato are all included in the Craft City Burger. Not to mention their Chicken Wings, which are regarded as some of the best in town. They’re delicious when served with garlic peppercorn sauce and vegetable sticks.
The atmosphere is genuine, and the friendly and pleasant setting is designed to make you feel at ease and enjoy yourself. The prices are reasonable for the quality of the meal and service. The waiters are both attentive and courteous, ensuring that your stay there is well spent.
