Access for more people

Accessibility

Haida is working to provide a website experience that people can perceive, understand, navigate and use in different ways.

Our commitment

We are designing and testing this website toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. Accessibility is an ongoing practice, not a one-time launch task.

You can read the WCAG 2.2 standard (opens in a new tab) from the World Wide Web Consortium.

What we have built in

  • Semantic page structure and labelled navigation
  • Keyboard-operable menus, dialogs and ordering controls
  • Visible focus indicators and a skip-to-content link
  • Readable colour contrast and responsive text
  • Alternative text for meaningful product photography
  • Reduced-motion support for people who disable animation

Third-party services

Online ordering, maps and other external services are operated by third parties. Their accessibility may differ from this website and is outside Haida’s direct technical control. If an ordering service creates a barrier, call the relevant restaurant for help with available alternatives.

Restaurant accessibility

Entrances, seating, washrooms and other physical features can differ by location. Call the restaurant before visiting if you need current information about a particular accessibility feature or accommodation.

Accessibility feedback

When reporting a website barrier, include the page address, what you were trying to do, the device or assistive technology used, and a way to contact you if you would like a response. We will use that information only to understand and address the issue.
