Scope of this notice

This notice applies to visits to the Haida Sandwich website. Individual restaurants and third-party ordering, delivery, map or social-media services may handle information under their own privacy notices.

Information we handle

Our hosting and security providers may automatically process limited technical information needed to deliver and protect the website. This can include an IP address, browser and device type, requested pages, referring page, date and time, and diagnostic or security events.

If you activate Use my location in an ordering selector, your browser provides your current device coordinates to the page so it can compare them with the seven restaurant locations. The website processes those device coordinates transiently in your browser and site code does not store or transmit them.

The website does not ask you to create an account, store payment details or submit an online order to Haida. The franchise enquiry form prepares an email in your own email application; the website does not transmit or store the form contents.

How information is used

• Deliver pages and requested website features
• Maintain security, prevent abuse and diagnose errors
• Understand aggregate website performance if privacy-appropriate analytics are introduced
• Respond when you contact a restaurant or Haida about a request

Do not include payment details, government identification or other sensitive information in a franchise enquiry. If analytics, marketing cookies or additional forms are added, this notice and any required consent controls will be updated before those tools are used.

External ordering and maps

Order buttons send you to the selected restaurant’s current ordering partner. That provider—not this website—may collect order, contact, delivery and payment information. Review the provider’s privacy notice before submitting information there.

The main locations page loads map tiles from OpenStreetMap, and individual location pages include embedded Google maps. When those maps load or you interact with them, information is handled under the OpenStreetMap Foundation privacy policy (opens in a new tab) or Google’s privacy policy (opens in a new tab).

Sharing, retention and security

Technical information may be processed by service providers that host, secure or maintain the website, and may be handled outside your province or Canada. We do not sell personal information collected through this website.

Information is retained only as long as reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was handled, security, legal obligations or dispute resolution. We use reasonable safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

You can browse this website without an account. Depending on the law that applies, you may ask about personal information Haida controls and request access or correction. Requests may require identity verification and may be subject to lawful exceptions.
