What Exactly Is This Place? Sheherzade reflects the Persian food as is usually eaten in the bazaars (Dizi) or cooked out in nature or an open-air grill (kabob), on the long days of summer, in the shade on the side of a mountain, by the riverside or in the baghs (Gardens) in Toronto.
What Does It Look Like? The décor of Sheherzade is very welcoming (with beautiful light fixtures and Persian tiles and artwork on the walls), and the general restaurant is designed to accommodate parts of 2 and 4s.
What Are The Must-Tries? For the starters, don’t forget to try Zeitoon Parvardeh that is prepared in Rudbar Style: whole green pitted olives, ground walnuts, crushed garlic, and pomegranate molasses, sprinkled with mint. For the main, order Dizi, Kabob Barg, and Adasi Bushehri. They are all delicious!
Anything Else I Should Know? The portions are pretty huge, and the prices are reasonable.
