The barbecue grill skewers are their signature dish, and they offer more than 30 varieties, including meats, fish, and vegetables. They make each skewer with pride by using natural Japanese charcoal. Besides Yakitori skewers, they have a diverse menu that includes anything from small plates to main courses. Their patio is free to enjoy the sun during the summer (From May to October.)

It is prepared by spiking the meat with Kushi, a skewer made of steel, bamboo, or other similar materials. Zakkushi is also famous for its signature Charcoal Grill Skewers, particularly Binchotan, which is prized for its superior quality of burning in addition to the excellent heat retention at high temperatures.

There are two Red Rocket Coffee locations throughout the city. the Danforth is quite close to Phoenix Concert Theatre and has been offering the neighbourhood their famous espresso-based drinks, teas and baked goods. Red Rocket Coffee comprises a great environment comprising areas dedicated to laptop works and the other regions that are specified for socializing. While seating can be limited at times, the food is fantastic, and the coffee is excellent.

By meeting the demands of food critics, their specialist Jamaican and Caribbean chefs have significantly increased the number of return customers in the neighbourhood near Phoenix Concert Theatre.
The menu offers a variety of mouthwatering dishes that have been a delight for the Torontonians. Tender, chunky pork with a bite to it, chicken that is just wonderful, meals that are large in number, this restaurant is fantastic in every way. Every meal has a character that the more you experience, the more enjoyable they will get. I highly recommend the Roti, which is enormous and will hold you complete for many days. The homemade hot sauces are the best part since they can burn a hole in your throat, digestive tract, and plumbing.
Only takeout and delivery are available in this restaurant, yet as their food systems are high-quality and efficient, many people choose them as their carryout place. This is a great spot to go if you’re looking for a cheap but tasty breakfast! From now on, this will be your go-to place for breakfast and lunch. The atmosphere is warm and casual, and although it’s cozy, it provides a spacious setting comprising comfortable booths and delicate bar seats.
As a Greek restaurant, the menu promises an extensive list of breakfast and brunch items that might not be found in most breakfast eateries. Mediterranean Delight is indeed a taste delight. It’s made of three scrambled eggs with tomatoes, mushrooms, onions, olives, green peppers and Greek feta cheese, served with home fries and bread. If you’re a fan of omelets for breakfast, this place is a must for you. They provide a variety of quality omelets. For instance, Meat Lovers Omelette, a three eggs omelet with peameal bacon, sausage and ham, melted with cheddar cheese, and served with home fries.
As Golden Diner is an old-school diner, they’ve got so many regular customers. Surprisingly, Golden Diner is still courteous and prompt, and the food is of high quality at a reasonable price served at very generous portions. You’ll never have to wait longer than 5 minutes for a table, and you’ll see that while the staff has the time, they want to pay extra attention. All in all, it will be a great pleasure to experience this restaurant at least once.

Opened in 2014, The Tilted Dog has been an extraordinary to-go place for Torontonians in the Cabbagetown neighbourhood within a 10-minutes-walk to Phoenix Concert Theatre. Tiff’s buttery pastry is used to encase one of their pies. They’ll become a holiday favourite! Hearty, filling, and a fantastic preparatory course choice. (This recipe serves four people.) These pies are shipped frozen, even though they are baked in-house. For instance, I highly suggest you try the large French Canadian Tourtiere, a Traditional Tourtière, also known as pork pie or meat pie. It’s a classic French-Canadian pie that’s loved all year long, but particularly at the holidays. Tiff’s is made with passion in a classic piecrust with ground beef, onions, and savoury seasonings.
It is good enough for you to return twice in three days. You’ll get a fantastic and generous meal at a great price. The patio is quite beautiful and well-shaded and provides an exquisite view of the street. The live jazz is also a great bonus to the fun you receive there, still not much loud to disturb your comfort in anyways. All I say is underestimating how pleasant your experience will be in The Tilted Dog, so visit them on your next restaurant adventure.

It’s located at 221 Carlton St, beer tastings, board games, and quiz night, all common at this classic pub for pub grub and local brews.
