The American is one of the best burger places in Vancouver. You will love the concept of this place where you have a nice coffee shop in the front portion, lunch portion, a bar, and some games, and they also cover all the entertainment bases.
Food-wise, they have partnered with Downlow Chicken Shack to serve up a variety of burgers and bar food, which kicks up their bar food game to a whole new level. One of the most recommended burgers to order in this place is The Americana, which comprises an all-beef patty, special sauce, lettuce, cheddar cheese, onions, and pickles locally made bun. It is a delicious and sloppy burger, and why the hell would you ever put it down before finishing it! Perfectly toasted bun, juicy beef patty, and the right amount of dressing! The dressing is their special merch sauce, which is also served with the fries. You can also try their signature burger made with two Rivers dry-aged ground beef and served on a freshly baked Livia Sweets burger bun. One notable thing about this burger place is that you can substitute veggie patty for no additional charge.
The staff in this restaurant are all super friendly and welcoming. American is a clean and spacious restaurant with lots of cool illustrations. The decoration is not messy, but there is definitely a lot to see. Lots of vibrant colours, contemporary and cute. There are lots of tables and seats inside the restaurant and a few of them outside. There are also some arcade games and 2 ATMs inside the restaurant, so it is convenient to have cash, but they obviously take cards. The washroom downstairs and “sit down” is the ladies restroom, and “stand up” is the men’s restroom. Inside, the restaurant is a bit dim, but you will the vibe, and the blue lighting is not tacky but just right. So, if you are looking for a perfect combination of savoury and sweet burgers to enjoy your day, The American will be your destination; you will not be disappointed.

If a delicious burger and a chill atmosphere are what you are looking for, the Alibi Room in Vancouver is what you want. Burgers are delicious, and the atmosphere is comfortable and somewhere intimate, even with shared bench tables. The staff are amiable and attentive. Alibi Room still lives up to its stellar reputation for years, and in fact, I think it is improved. They are super popular so getting a spot during the week is more effortless, obviously.
The food menu is pretty sparse, consisting of a few classic bar snacks and a separate entree menu. One of the most recommended burgers to order in this place is the Beef Burger, which is cheddar, mushrooms, and bacon. The center of the patty is crispy, but otherwise, it is flavorful and well-seasoned. The bacon, cheddar, and mushroom add moisture and flavour. It has the perfect ratio of fat and crisp; everything about the burger is delightful. Alongside the delicious burgers, they also have a wide variety of beer to drink from. Alibi Room’s burger menu is comprehensive, and you can also order their fabulous House-Made Veggie Burger and All-Natural Beef Burger, so YUMMY!
The vibe of the Alibi Room is killer. It is manicured and sterilized to perfection, and honestly, that is what makes it so unique. There is no other place like it in Vancouver. The atmosphere is unique. You can sip libations as the Red Union Pacific train passes out the window in front of you. A downstairs area is accessed via a spiral staircase where you will find more cushioned, intimate seating, a stage, and another bar.
The restaurant itself is in a Heritage building that is over 100 years old, and it is also right next to some train tracks, which can make for a unique dining experience, do not let that stuff fool you, though; this place is modern amazing. The food itself is all locally sourced, ocean-friendly, and naturally raised. Beware, the lighting is pretty dim, so if you visit during the later hours of the day, they use lots of candles, so classic. Service? Some of the best in town! Every time you come here, the service has been fairly quick (for being how busy) and awesome. All servers are accommodating, laid-back, and kind. It is highly recommended.

Five Guys, located at Robson Street Vancouver, always fulfills your burger cravings. Are all fast-food places the same? Burgers and fries, what else? How about peanuts? If you automatically thought about Five Guys, you are absolutely right. Famous for their free peanuts and the chart’s burgers, your first-time visit will be definitely an eye-opener! Simple is the best, and that is why they only serve hamburgers or cheeseburgers. With no limit on how many toppings to choose from, each burger is your own unique creation. Paired with Cajun-spiced fries, your burger will not be the same!
One of the most recommended burgers to order in this place is the Cheese Burger with bacon, mushrooms, and a few other toppings, as you can add whatever toppings you want for one set price. What a surprising burger. The regular burger is a double burger, and it is enormous! Tons of food! Unless you are an army. The restaurant’s burgers’ taste and texture are fantastic, and the regular-sized burger is huge and overflowing into the rest of the bag. Five guys boast no-filler meat and locally sourced potatoes, and they are crispy enough to hold up to both ketchup and malt vinegar.
The burgers are gigantic, succulent, and juicy, and putting the cheese between the patties makes it only more so. Five Guys is teeming with customers and, as customers mentions, full of jovial cooks and servers. The atmosphere reads, “we do really care if you like what we have done with the place; we are happy to be here.” The concept is pretty well identical – a clean, simple decor using just red and white. Sacks of peanuts are “decorated” near the entrance to give you that “local” look. Speaking of local, they inform customers where they get their potatoes for the fries. It usually is a local farm.
You will love the option to choose your own toppings, which provide all the classics (onion, tomatoes, mushrooms, mayo, ketchup, pickles, etc.). The patties are fresh and hand-formed. Fries are hot, fresh, and crispy, and the amount is huge; they offer unlimited peanuts. The large burger and fries are enough to fill even the most voracious appetite. If you want quality burgers, go here as the atmosphere is amazing.

What a huge venue and a perfect location. Mahony is Vancouver’s most beautiful spot, which is right at Coal Harbor, serving fabulous burgers. Ultimately, Mahony has a lot of appeals- especially for groups. They have an exciting menu, a beautiful location, and delicious burgers. If you are talking about the top 10 patios in Vancouver, this has to fall on the list definitely. A place that sits right on the water, right across from BC Place, Plaza of Nations, and a backdrop of tall condominiums and the mountains. It is like a postcard, yet it is a postcard you can drink if you see it.
One of the most recommended burgers to order in this place is the Classic Burger GF, made up of 100% all-natural brisket and chuck beef patty, served on a toasted brioche bun lettuce, tomato, house relish, tomato, and mayo. This burger is tasted good, and they are well-seasoned to the taste. Another famous burger to order in this place is the Cajun Chicken Burger getting a thumbs up and accompanying salad and crispy fries. It is totally fitted with the bill. The Cajun Chicken Burger is very tasty- it is not a regular burger, a good piece of chicken breast in a toasted bun, so YUMMY!
The service here is upbeat, friendly, and decent enough— a trendy venue in this area to be crowded some nights. The outside patio is divine for watching boats sail past on warm evenings. Definitely worth a visit; the view alone makes for a beautiful evening. It is a great area to host a party, with lots of high tables and a standing room. The music is at the perfect sound level, and it is an excellent selection of background music for a social event. The washrooms are very accessible to this area (you do not have to go downstairs). I highly recommend coming here, and you will not be disappointed. Keep up the amazing work!

If you have a craving for burgers, you can try Fatburger in Vancouver, serving one of the most fabulous burgers you have ever had. The best part? The burger itself, of course. So juicy and beefy, the juicy burger is absolutely succulent between that and the oil from the burger. The best thing about eating at Fatburger is that nobody cares how messy you get. Some say the Chinese custom is that the more messily you eat, the more you enjoy the food.
When it comes to the burger, there is a roster of specialty options like the Hawaiian cheeseburger with grilled pineapple, swiss, and maple bacon, or the California burger with guac, bacon, and pepper jack. Based on the Fat burger nutrition chart, most of their burgers have under 900 Calories and 60-gram fat! It sounds not bad, and not feel guilty at all. The specialty beef burgers share the menu with a dizzying array of sides: fries, yam fries, curly fries, onion rings, chips, nacho fries, and poutine. The bun is fresh, and the toppings are applied generously – it is just that the most vital component, the thick meat patty touted as Angus beef, is watery and cooked to perfection. Best of all, it has that seared, caramelized meat crust that you expect from a flat-top cooked burger. Onion rings on the side are crispy; they are coated in a cornmeal crust and presented as if each ring had been reassembled back into an entire onion.
Inflected with a retro ’50s diner-style, the burger shop features plenty of chrome finishes, vinyl upholstery, and sparkling Formica countertops. The eatery occupies a deep narrow space, with the open kitchen and ordering counter positioned at its heart. Service is prompt and friendly without the common overdoing it some other places struggle with. And finally, the consistency. The Fatburger in Vancouver is remarkably consistent in the things. It is for these reasons that I think the higher-than-other-fast-food prices are worth it.

One of the most recommended burgers to order in this place is the Bacon Cheddar Burger, a twin 4 oz patties, cured bacon, tomatoes, onion, lettuce, and pickles, mayonnaise, and mustard, on a toasted brioche bun. It is delicious and perfectly cooked, juicy as you want it. The burger is great on a slightly crispy bun and sweetly cured bacon. It has awesome correct and balanced proportions of meat, vegetables, and bun proportions. All their burgers are served with French fries, and you can also substitute yam or garlic fries, soup, or salad for an additional charge. The kitchen also offers a keto-style burger (lettuce wrapped), and it is one of the best you have had, accompanied by the most delicious cauliflower soup.
This location is actually the Earls test kitchen as well, so it is really cool to try new items that have not been rolled out to the other restaurants. The service is excellent, the manager always checks and chats with tables, your glasses will never be empty, and they even give recommendations for other places. The interior is very inviting. It is spacious and beautifully decorated with a clean, modern look. You will absolutely enjoy eating at Earls. Their menu can pretty much appeal to anyone, and it is fun eating at their test kitchen, where you have the opportunity to try something new. All in all, for sure 5-star burgers! This is a do-over!

Great looking burger menu! West Oak in Vancouver is the best! The yummiest, most succulent, and tastebud exploding burgers are created here! They have a modern burger menu that features a west coast vibe. The cooks are good, the food quality is excellent, the tastes are wonderful (they have a couple of fresh herbs on deck ready for use), and the service is quite enthusiastic. What else do you want?
One of the most recommended burgers to order in this place is the Royale Burger with Cheese, made up of lettuce, tomato, bacon, cheddar, mustard, and mayonnaise. So YUMMY! The patty is fresh, and it is marinated with a well-balanced flavour of bacon and mayonnaise and mustard. All the flavours are unique and in harmony with the customers’ tastes; no other sauces are needed. Veggies are perfect! And their special sauce!! With this fresh peppercorn brown sauce, you can soak a couch cushion in it! The food is presented well, and the first bites are incredible. This is family-style, and you will want to bring an army with you to eat this. Excellent execution indicates a kitchen with a deep understanding of ingredients and profound love of the craft to take those extra steps even for a modest burger dish.
This is a brilliant place: It has basically four different types of spaces for you to be in – out on the sidewalk deck, at cafe tables or the bar, at regular dining room tables, or the twelve-person round table. If you are looking for more of a party/lounge vibe, reserve your seats inside. The patio is quieter/chill. You will like the open concept kitchen in the back and the seating plan, with tables with plush upholstered and hardback chairs, suspended modular tubular lighting, elegant crystal-like starburst snowflakes hanging from a high, and a hopping bar/lounge area on the side. Kind of an upscale, boho-retro/swanky vibe. While leaving, the employees will all wish you a good day and say goodbye— such a nice and warm exchange for leaving with. The hostess/owner/chef is all incredibly professional and helpful. Warmly recommended!

The food in The Cannibal Cafe in Vancouver is so damn good! You can taste some of the best burgers you have ever had. Funky, unique dining spot with some really great food. Known for its crazy and delicious burgers, it also has a great selection of sides, and other fun treats. Definitely, a place to check out multiple times to test out the different creations available.
One of the most recommended burgers to order in this place is the Bacon Burger, stuffed with bacon, loaded with bacon and cheese, and topped with lettuce, tomato, onions, and pickles. It is so juicy and perfectly cooked. The buns are toasted and not overly gigantic-just the right size. It also comes with a large pickle to balance the savouries. The addition of a decent chunk of crisp lettuce adds a welcome crunch, and everything is appropriately proportioned so that no ingredient can overpower anything else. The food is terrific and entirely in tune with the vibe of a café or diner. The Happy Hour menu is also a great deal.
The decor is a mix of movie and concert post bills, with a corner big screen TV to catch some sports action. Few catchy graphic elements are spread out as wall features. There is booth seating as well as a communal bar height table with stools. The place can use some tidy up (storage card boxes visible in the dining area) and cosmetic improvements to brighten things. The stereo is always playing stuff like new wave, punk, rockabilly, post, and occasional hip hop; basically, a dream come true that it is not Top 40 garbage or franchise satellite radio.
Servers are attentive and patient in explaining how to add sides and toppings and flexible to take your happy hour order— really clean joint with well-maintained washrooms. The entire place has an awesome vibe and some fun seating options (bar, booth, table). Prices reflect high-quality ingredients used (who will use certified organic local brisket and short ribs to ground up for patties!). Typically, no sides are included in the signature burgers, ranging from $12 to $15. Sides are on average $5 each. Give it a try! Highly recommended!

St. Augustine’s is a great place in Vancouver to kick back and relax with an excellent burger! You will love the energy of this place. It is always lively, but not too rowdy that you cannot hear your friends talking. The food menu has many options, including vegetarian with the mostly pub-type fare. The portion size is perfect for sharing, and they don’t cheap out on toppings/sauces. It is a great place to go to for a party. People can also eat dinner and watch the Game at the same time.
One of the most recommended burgers to order at this pace is the Veggie Burger, which is surprisingly a lot better than you think; its patty is made of sweet potato yam. You can also order “the Burger” on a gluten-free bun; that patty also looks handmade. The fries are awesome, hand-cut, and cooked perfectly. The burger is indeed good with the caramelized onion aioli and mushroom. Their menu is small but well-executed.
Not your average restaurant – fast, friendly service, relish food featuring many in-house made dishes, and a huge beer menu this place exceeded expectations. The food is on the pricier side for a place, but the quality and portion really matched the price. This place is always bonkers busy. Who are these people, and why do they not have jobs?! Go to work so I can have your table! So, get there early, especially on game day, fools! The place is generally warm and comfortable, the tables are nicely spaced out, and there are many lighting + windows, which is pleasant.
This place is a local favourite, and very close to sky-train, so it does get busy in the evenings. If you are not here early on a weekend evening or game night, expect to have to wait.
Luckily the turnover is pretty steady, and there is a covered area outside where you can wait for your table. Metered street parking is available, there are a few two hours free spots in the area (very few), and they also have free rooftop parking. The service is usually outstanding. When you consider how packed the place is, these servers deserve medals. Give it a try! Highly recommended.

The Slocan Restaurant offers a real burger to its customers, no-frills, straightforward, and simple, and this is awesome. When you get the menu, you can notice several burgers to choose from at a reasonable price. Overall, if you will stop in for a quick burger, you are doing the right thing; they definitely cover all tastes here.
The burger, good down-to-earth familiar and yet in the ranks of fine-dining, so darn good. One of the most recommended burgers to order in this place is the Cajun Cheddar Chicken Burger, grilled juicy breast with lettuce, tomato, red onion, Slocan sauce, creamy slaw, pickle, and crispy fries. There are also veggie and chicken burgers and a kids’ menu. The Slocan Restaurant is mostly known for its mega burger. Each with a cheddar slice on top, three beef patties are sandwiched between two grilled cheese sandwiches. The restaurant has some special menus like Happy Hour menus that they are always changing their happy hour menu, so you get to try different things.
This place is a restaurant not to miss a visit with a unique ambiance matched with excellent food. Employees treat you like family and have real ownership of your overall experience. They are also brilliant with the children; they seem to enjoy their work, motivating them to provide a great customer experience. When you ask for some mix and match of ingredients that are not offered, they will do it, with no complaints. They are quick, and the staff is SO polite. They will make you anything you want, making them so much better than other burger joints. Give it a try!

Is it not great to go into a restaurant feeling welcomed? Every time you leave White Spot Kingsway in Vancouver, you are more than satisfied with the customer service and burgers’ quality. There are so many different combinations, and even the choice of protein: chicken, lamb, and beef, or even the veggie option sound yummy. The burgers are all fresh and made to order, absolutely not frozen. The decor, elegant and yet warm and cozy. The food, good down-to-earth familiar and yet in the ranks of fine-dining, so darn good.
The restaurant serves the burgers with large portions of fresh and yummy ingredients and is very flavorful and healthy. One of the most recommended burgers to order in this place is the Bourbon BBQ Brisket Burger, which is made up of fresh Canadian beef burgers with smoked beef brisket in bourbon BBQ sauce, Jack cheese, crispy onions, arugula, and adobo mayo. This fabulous burger has you in my feelings, and for a glorious half-hour, all your problems and everything around you goes away, and it is just you and the burger. The beef of the burgers is also patty was so tender! They had a great variety of meat that would satisfy any meat lover’s palate. Their special house sauce is also pretty good. They can get two sides if they want, and they get an excellent portion for their main dish.
The service is excellent! From the hostess to the server, they have a fantastic team. One of the great things about this particular White Spot is its amazing long-term staff that ensures service quality and consistency. Servers come by enough to get refills, see if you need anything, etc., but they do not overdo it, making for a much better dining experience. They are also quite genuine. White Spot will be one of your favourite burger spots, so I would highly recommend it for anyone who has a burger craving.

Burger adventures start in Romer’s Burger Bar in Vancouver! If you have mad love for a juicy burger, this place should definitely be on your list. Then, you see the unique menu items – lamb burger? Veggie options? They cook the burgers properly to your desired level of pinkness. The menu is creative, and there are plenty of options that could cater to patrons looking for a carnivore’s feast or healthier choices with gluten-free buns, lettuce wraps, turkey burgers, shrimp, and crab burgers, etc.
One of the most recommended burgers to order in this place is the Magic Mushroom Burger, made up of tomatoes; maple smoked bacon, amber ale cheddar, crispy onion strings, mustard aioli, smoked alder salts. So yummy! You can also change from bun to bow (replace the bun with salad). It is fabulous that you can customize any burger (and there are TONS of burger offerings) to have a regular bun, a thin “lite” bun, a gluten-free bun, or no bun at all where they put your burger patty on some lettuce with tomatoes. They add a hard-boiled egg to this “burger salad” of sorts. If you think your burger should be cooked a certain way, you are wrong, and this burger is cooked to perfection; there is no argument; this is the way.
Their location has a pretty decent parking space, and it is located right next to the river. During summer, the view is beautiful, and you get to experience the outdoors while eating a delicious burger. The ambiance of the place is outstanding. It is actually pretty dope inside with lots of cushy red booths and funky chairs. There is a nice large U-shaped bar for chilling and even some window tables to satisfy people watching! Oh, they also have a large private room you can reserve for dinner parties. Their eclectic menu and a burger for any dietary restriction give meat lovers and plant-based diets the best of both worlds. Highly recommended!

If you are looking for a fresh, juicy burger that is flavorful and carefully crafted and willing actually to pay a reasonable price – this is it! The restaurant also has a comprehensive menu accommodating different tastes. The toppings are fresh and given in generous amounts too! Your orders will be delivered to you hot within less than 30 minutes, and the staff are so kind and act very thankful for your orders.
One of the most recommended burgers to order in this place is the Bacon Cheddar Burger, which is made up of fresh Canadian beef, naturally smoked bacon, aged Canadian cheddar, crisp iceberg lettuce, fresh vine-ripened tomatoes, Secret Triple “O” sauce, and our signature pickle on top. This burger is delicious just as it should be, allowing the tender beef patties’ flavour to come through. It is definitely juicy and tasty. The caramelized onions’ sweetness added a subtle contrast to the bacon and cheese, with well-balanced flavours. They are creative with toppings while not forgetting tradition. Of course, the secret to success is freshness- and the combination of quality ingredients and skillful presentation is not only a feast for the eyes but a pleasure to the palette.
It is a gem that is waiting to be discovered. The service is pretty good for a fast-food joint; workers come here and there to clean tables and check up on customers/ get their feedback. Very courteous hosts, it is an excellent place to go out with friends and colleagues or with your date. Enjoyable cuisine, specialist chief cook and stuff, comfortable pay, and excellent service. It is highly recommended. You will have a fun vibe with people at the bar on laptops having a working lunch and others enjoying themselves with friends. The prices are incredibly reasonable, especially given the huge portions and fresh quality. Highly recommended!

MeeT on Main is one of the famous burger places in Vancouver, worth visiting at least once. I can see a lot of creativity at play in building their menu; every single item is vegan and gluten-free, yet somehow their selection does not seem restricted by its ingredients. This restaurant shows 100% that Vegan food is not only freaking delicious but easily accessible to a mainstream audience. Skip other dishes and go directly for the burgers. The portions are huge, and the prices are affordable!!
Crispy BBQ Burger is one of the most recommended burgers in Meet on Main, made up of the restaurant’s signature burger patty, beer-battered, and tossed in whiskey BBQ sauce, topped with crispy onion strings, a slice of Chao cheese, and chipotle mayo. The patty is super satisfying for a burger with no meat – meaty, moist, and juicy with a nice garlic smokiness. You will love the tang of the pickle, and their sauce tasted exactly like real mayo and added creaminess to the burger. The bun is also fluffy and perfectly toasted. It is vegan and therefore safe for anyone not consuming animal products, and it is so scrumptious and filling that it satisfies even your most devout meat-eater. The vegan proteins are both delicious and satisfying!
The minute you walk in, you are invited to a colourful and welcoming place with walls lined with funky art, and neat light installations hung from the ceiling. Service is pleasant, lots of smiles all around. I can tell that the employees enjoy working here! It is pretty loud, so if you are not a late morning person (or someone recovering from a crazy night), this might not be the place for you. The environment is cozy and happy. The staff is friendly, and the service is to the standard. The place itself is quite small, with a long table in the center where you can share the table with others. There is also a bar area you can sit in if you would like! The lighting is also quite dim, but overall, the vibe there is quite cozy. Highly recommended!

There are few places in Vancouver where you can enjoy vegetarian burgers, but Tera V Burger will confront you with a completely different experience! This is a small joint located in Kits, on Broadway, best known for their meatless burgers. This fast-casual vegetarian burger and sandwich joint satisfies that classic diner meal urge without making you feel like “I have blown through half a week’s worth of calories and saturated fat in one sitting.”
One of the most recommended burgers to order is the Smoky No Bull Burger, a solid soy-based patty with fresh, crisp lettuce, tomato, onion, and American cheese. There is really no need to miss beef when you can nosh down on something as hearty as this. The patties do not taste like meat but are still very tasty for what they are, flavorful, tender, and juicy. The condiments are just right, and then the bun is soft and fresh. The best part is that it is so packed with protein and fibre that you will walk out pretty full if you pair it with their BAKED fries. The barbecue sauce provides a nice sweetness and smokiness; the yam fries are also crispy and have a nice sweetness. They also carry soup, salad and now desserts! Nice to have the option of something sweet after a burger. Desserts also have gluten-free and vegan options 🙂
Cost is extremely reasonable, and service is quick whether sitting in or take-out, and the owner is a friendly guy. They have a great option to order online for easy take-out if desired, and if you work in the area, you get a little discount! Definitely suggested if you are looking for a quick and tasty lunch or dinner, really great for those weeknights where you do not want to cook but want something uncomplicated. I hope everyone goes out of their way to come to eat here! I guarantee you will be more than satisfied.

Looking for a burger place? Found the answer! The Wolf & Hound in Vancouver is as authentic as they come. True, it has its fair share of Guinness advertisements that adds to the place’s kitschy feel, but what makes it authentic is that it is a place where they carry a rather extensive menu filled with classic comfort food. The place is spacious and busy, with a congenial ambiance that makes it a great place to congregate with friends. The place is so cozy, charming, and extremely inviting. If you are looking for a place to relax and kick back, here seems right. They have indoor and outdoor seating, and when it is nice out, they open the large doors to let the outside in!
Foodwise, this is as good as any restaurant can get; one of the most recommended burgers to order in this place is the Wolf Burger, which is made up of homemade patty, caramelized onions, sauteed mushrooms, corned beef, onion rings, and provolone. The meat is juicy and cooked to perfection as the center is just a slight hint of pink; the sauce is robust and made this a perfect match! The patty texture is also juicy and full of flavour, comes with a side salad, and with a cool print, you can almost call this Heaven on Earth! They had a great variety of meat that would satisfy any meat lover’s palate. Their special house sauce is also pretty good. They grind their own beef, so if you are like me and prefer your burger cooked only to medium, then this is the place for you. They make them fresh and dress them any way you want right in front of you.
The tricky thing about restaurants in large cities is that they often lose some local charms that make going to a special restaurant. This is not the case here. There is live music, the building is interesting with a “living room” set up in the back, and the people are friendly. Although the place is far from empty on a Friday night, you will also never have to wait for a seat. Even when they get busy, the servers always come around often to check up on you. The Wolf and Hound are located one block East of the main intersection of Broadway and Alma. When you first enter, you will see plenty of different tables, chairs, and comfy couches to sit on around the place, all being lit by a variety of different vintage-looking light fixtures. It has the feeling and look of an Irish place but has enough of its own touches to make it feel almost like someone’s home. Take a chance on it!

The Boathouse probably is the most consistent restaurant in all of Vancouver. When you first walk in, the place is pretty spacious, and the cashier promptly greets you. The Boathouse restaurant alone makes you want to live in Vancouver. Staff are friendly, service is fast (for the number of people in there!), and the area is clean. They are almost known for their juicy burgers. I have to warn you that their burgers are so amazing that you may become addicted!
One of the most recommended burgers to order in The Boathouse is the Bacon Cheddar Burger, made up of double-smoked bacon, aged cheddar, tomatoes, lettuce, and onion served with field greens or sea-salted fries. The patty is awesome and tender, and the texture is so akin to actual beef. The inventors do a great job of making it look and taste like real meat. You will feel good about eating it. When you think about an excellent burger, and you have an idea of what you want it to taste like, this is it. No frills, no fancy sauces, just great meat, a soft bun, and crisp and fresh toppings. The beef has a nice charred flavour, and this is easily devoured in less than five minutes. The buns are always perfectly toasted, the ingredients fresh and plentiful, the burger patties expertly grilled, complimented by fries with just the right amount of crisp.
The Boathouse on Kits Beach has one of the best locations on the lower mainland. Located right on Kits Beach, just off of Arbutus, few eateries are closer to the water. One can eat a meal while surveying one of the best ocean views the city has to offer, and depending on the time of day, catching either a sunset or seeing just how many boats, both large and small, use the waters which surround Vancouver. The dining room also has many regular tables right up against the glass for the same amazing view. It was a dark and gloomy day with lots of rain, but you know what, the view may have been even better because of that. If you are craving an amazing place to grab a decent burger in Vancouver, The Boathouse is highly recommended!

Nestled in a corner, The Market Grill is the customers’ ideal burger place in Vancouver, located at the front entrance on your right side when you enter Granville Market. Great selection on their menu; you can even build your own burger or pick from the chef-selected menu. Beef patties are cooked to your desire and are really mouth-watering.
Lots of burgers and vegetarian choices here. There are many different burgers with chicken, beef, veggie (chickpea or mushrooms, etc.) One of the most recommended burgers to order in The Market Grill is the Chicken Grill Special Burger. It has BBQ sauce, chicken, Swiss cheese, mushrooms, and mayo in it. The Market Grill’s homemade sauce is delicious, and the mushrooms and chicken are cooked just right to make the burger’s whole texture extremely tasty. 5/5 for this for sure. The Market Grill has fresh baked (artisan) buns, perfectly crusty and soft. In this place, you can also try their favourite burger, which is Californian Chicken Burger – cream cheese, avocado, bacon, and mushrooms on a beautiful bun. All burgers come with Caesar salad or wedge fries – both are equally good.
Since this is a food stand inside the public market, seating can be limited. People are generally amiable and willing to share their table with you. Plus, the customer service here is top-notch – everyone is super friendly, and you can tell that they really care about their product’s quality. The decor is contemporary, chic yet cozy and warm, not the cold industrial style. If you are a burger person – trust me, you will thank me!

If you are searching for a great burger in Vancouver, here you are; McDonald’s offers its menu with tons of excellent choices. This one and the one on the boundary are probably the two busiest McDonald’s in Vancouver. Their menu has dramatically changed over the years to healthier, custom, and neat stuff, including cheaper and tastier burgers.
The Sausage’ N Egg McMuffin is one of the most favourite burgers of McDonald’s, consisting of sausage, tasty processed cheddar cheese, and a freshly-cracked Canada Grade A egg. The burger bun is lightly toasted and fluffy – the aroma of the patty is intertwined within the bun. The first bite is deliciously greasy, and you will be surprised the buns do not come out drenched in grease. You can also have extra cheese on the top of the dish. It is hearty and flavorful, not watered down.
There is a lot of seating, and they do not care how long or late you will sit. Being very traffic-heavy in location, they seem to be more efficient at this location than at others. The location offers a large parking lot making it easy to get in and out. Food and service are consistent with what you would expect from McDonald’s. The service here is pretty good, and they seem pretty professional compared to many other locations. They have screened all over the place and plenty of seating. There are plenty of self-order kiosks, including one in the playroom (and delivered to a table in the playroom – smart idea!). Give it a try! Highly recommended.

No doubt, Hundy is one of the best burger places in Vancouver. Choose your own adventure from the menu: beef, cheese, bacon, or chicken. It will be served lovingly wrapped with a brioche bun, which will melt in your mouth along with a full layer of sliced, house-made pickles. Pick up a side of fries served darker than your average fries with just the right amount of crunch to keep you coming back!
One of the most recommended burgers to order in this place is the Hot Chicken. The burger’s brioche bun is airy and soft, and the crisp breading on the chicken is obviously the star of the show – keeping its *crunch factor* despite being in contact with the moisture of the slaw. All the burgers are juicy and flavorful and spread sauce on the toasted brioche bun that really brought everything together. The fries seem freshly made and are crisp but have the yummy potato-y center that you will like. The atmosphere and dishes are alike – simple, trendy, exactly everything you need and nothing more! They do not add exotic ingredients; they do the usual burger stuff but do it so well.
Hundy has such a cool vibe. You will instantly be impressed by the ambiance and decor and how the servers wear long sleeves that strongly resembled Kanye merch. The restaurant’s set-up allows you to order at a counter and not fuss with formal wait service. There are also nice details like Aesop soap in the bathrooms. The online ordering system is seamless and does not charge an extra fee. If your hands are not greasy, try your hand at the street fighter arcade machine (no coins required!); otherwise, stick to the front windows and count all the people willing to line up for a spot in this cozy restaurant. I really cannot think of any criticisms – I truly like this place just the way it is!

Moderne Burger is Vancouver’s popular place to go to for a clean, healthy-tasting burger. It is advertised as an “award-winning fresh food grass-fed triple AAA beef burger.” It is entirely true; everything is grass-fed and as healthy as a burger and fries can be. The burgers are fresh, right-sized, and you can customize them to make your own burger. They are prepared to perfection and taste amazing! You will also like the diner vibe and the friendly staff and atmosphere. Simply the best! There are no better burgers in Vancouver, and that is the fact.
They have a straightforward selection of burgers – beef, chicken, turkey, salmon, and veggie with a half dozen toppings to choose from. One of the yummiest burgers which you can taste here is the Steak Burger. The burgers and fries are made on-demand, not stockpiled ahead of time, and they come HOT as you expect, not lukewarm like the fast-food chains. It has the right amount of everything, and customers are free to ask them to add the restaurant’s special sauce, which gave it a nice flavour. You even do not need cheese on their burger because the meat tastes delicious. The decorations make it look partly like a 50s dinner but more modern. They pride themselves in having better quality burgers by using steak, veggie or Turkey, instead of a beef patty.
Want a great-tasting burger in Vancouver for a reasonable price? Moderne Burger is the place for you! Fresh fries, fresh veggies, and all-around excellent customer service. I probably should have gone for double meat because it is very juicy and grilled to perfection. If you have not tried Moderne Burger yet, I truly hope you give it a try. You will find out what a good burger is supposed to taste like. Highly recommended!

If you are craving a delicious and unique burger, CRAFT Beer Market in Vancouver could be one of your options. They really care about the food quality and are continually working hard to improve their menu. They are not an average burger place by any means. Emphasizing craft brewing and an almost Guy-Fieri-style food menu that strives toward local ingredients, they also have branches in Edmonton and Toronto. Excellent meals, skillful chief cook, comfortable pay, and excellent service.
Burgers are pretty good, and by that, I mean it meets your expectations based on the menu description and quality of ingredients for the price. One of the most outstanding burgers you can order here is the “20 Napkin Burger”. A double burger made from premium Durham Ontario beef is topped with brisket, bacon, house cheese sauce, lettuce, tomato, and onion, and a slider on the top to boot. Fries are hand-cut fresh every day, and they’re pretty darn good. Toppings were proportionate, not greasy at all. So YUMMY. The patties are very juicy; the smoky taste is there, and only some granny seasoning (salt and pepper) enhances the beef flavour. Fresh warm bun, big chunky moist patty, fresh toppings, large portion. It is tasty and satisfying. The burgers are not unique but also delicious. There is definitely no compromise in the taste despite their large and crazy menu. Those looking for beef alternatives will still find plenty to enjoy, like grilled chicken and vegan burger patties.
What so unique about this place is it is converted from a historic Salt Factory. You will see many black and white photos on the wall with lots of colourful barrel decorations. The high-ceilinged space with fans that reach helicopter proportions, lots of metallic elements, and a 360 bar wraps around the tap station was designed, like all Craft locations. The vibes are always amazing, with great music and great servers and service. Outstanding service; they treat their customers like VIPs. Give it a try, and you will not be disappointed!

BierCraft Bistro has the best burgers in Vancouver! Every time you leave BierCraft Bistro, you are more than satisfied with the customer service and food quality. Great care is taken here to have the ingredients fresh; it always makes a difference. The restaurant’s menu is cleverly adapted to suit today’s market-making unfamiliar foods seem familiar. But have no doubt, the meat, the ingredients, and the food are unique, not available anywhere else.
One of the most recommended burgers to order in this place is the Portobello Burger. This thing looks as good as some burger pictures you see in magazines and online. It feels like a mountain is tall but attractive as any good burger will be; whether you can fit a bite in your mouth is another thing. Served with fresh mixed greens and a very light vinaigrette, it is a well-balanced meal with no fries. The meat is soft and tender, and the juices ooze out when you bit in, and the patty is the highlight of this masterpiece. The burger is nothing short of amazing. You can order this burger with cheddar, bacon, and mushrooms. With all additions, the bun holds together without being too stodgy, which is difficult to achieve. It is juicy, salty, and just amazing. Try it.
The staff cannot be friendlier here; as you walk in, they will greet you with a bowl of Cajun popcorn. The staff is absolutely incredible- appropriately friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable about the burgers and menu items! It is a great place to come with many people as they have long tables to pull together. The side patio (in the summer) and the front patio are open year-round. Highly recommend it if you are on the hunt for a different burger.

Dublin Crossing, located at 466 SW Marine Drive, Vancouver, is mostly known for its fabulous and yummy burgers. Dublin Crossing is a pretty nice-looking restaurant. It is cozy at the same time as a TV. There is also live music, and that is a nice experience. Burgers of Dublin Crossing are phenomenal! Make you think about how you have never had one of these before. Moist, good toppings, couldn’t have been better.
The restaurant menu is reasonable, but more burgers are the main attraction for anyone going as they are 100% on their burgers! One of the most recommended burgers to order in this place is the Belfast Bacon Cheddar Burger, which comprises a six-ounce prime rib burger patty, aged cheddar, naturally smoked bacon, tomato, red onion, lettuce, and jalapeño ranch on a toasted brioche bun. The seasonings are flavorful and supplemented the flavour and texture of the meat perfectly. The portions are also much larger than you expect and are served with potatoes and vegetables. The vast amount of choice on the menu generally always makes for a great meal – and with that number of loaves of bread, patties, toppings, sauces, and sides to choose from, you could probably eat there every week of your life and never have the same order.
Honestly, eating in Dublin Crossing is a great experience; super friendly staff, prompt service, and wait times are reasonable. There is an upstairs dining area, so that that service might occur a little less than usual. They open the outdoor patio for dining in the summer as well. Attention to detail is evident in the cute classical Irish Restaurant. It looks appealing from the wonderful aesthetic indoors; It has an authentic atmosphere, relaxed feeling, tasty comfort food, and drink with an Irish theme. Give this place a try, and you will not be disappointed!

If you are craving a fabulous burger, here you are; Wally’s Burgers in Vancouver serves one of the freshest and tastiest burgers you have ever had. The restaurant has a complete menu of pizzas, unique homemade dishes, salads, desserts, and, more importantly, unique burgers. The strength of flavour in their burgers’ ingredients like mushrooms, onions, and peppers balance so beautifully with the shockingly good stake.
One of the most recommended burgers to order in this place is the Crispy Chicken Cordon Bleu Burger, topped with bacon and melted swiss cheese, served on a toasted bun with onions and famous Wally’s sauce. A local baker makes the bun, and a local butcher makes the patties. The bun is lightly toasted, and it gives the bun a bit of warmth and crispiness. The patty, which is better than any patty at a fast-food restaurant, tasted juicy and flavorful. The chopped-up onions are lightly caramelized. All of the ingredients taste fresh, and the burger does not taste too greasy either. All of the burgers are freshly made when you give your order. The burgers really had a home-style taste to them. You can also try their Deluxe Wally Burger, which is the best burger in Vancouver. Ketchup, mayo, lettuce, tomatoes, and onions are all you really need. Unpretentious, like the kind of burger you can find at your backyard family barbecue.
Wally’s Burgers has a tremendous attentive service from the moment you walk in (welcoming desk) to the moment you order and get served. The restaurant also activated the online ordering and delivery to your places by observing all health protocols for food packaging for the customers’ convenience. They make your food to order, so 5 – 10 minutes, maybe longer if they are busy, call ahead if you are in a hurry. This place is a hidden gem, and this location’s restaurant should be the eatery of the year! Highly recommended!
