This is the second official location of Kosoo Korean Restaurant. It’s a celebration of Vancouver’s ethnic diversity as well as its natural surroundings. Wonderfully, The Kosoo Korean Chicken & BBQ restaurant features ingredient-driven Korean cuisine that highlights high-quality meat and a never-ending pursuit for BBQ perfection.
A variety of exciting Korean food is offered on the menu. The Kimchi Pancake is a delight option for an appetizer since it’s light and crispy, and the portion is generous. Interestingly, they use natural stone plates for their Korean BBQ, which has high heat preservation and emits far-infrared rays and minerals. I highly recommend their signature Jeongol, a traditional Korean dish made by stewing bite-sized pieces of beef, pork or seafood, seasonings, vegetables, and mushrooms in a pot. Jeong is derived from Korean royal cuisine.

Takuma Ishikawa, a Japanese chef, founded KOKORO Mazesoba in Tokyo in 2013. Mazesoba quickly became highly successful in Japan, with locations strewn across the country, especially in Tokyo. KOKORO brand creator Takuma Ishikawa began his company and won Japan’s Best Mazesoba Award in 2014. Over the years, this restaurant has seen massive popularity globally, especially in Seymour Street Vancouver, Canada, where three different locations are built, including downtown near Seymour Street.
The restaurant menu offers a variety of items to feel the real taste of Japan. They specialize in making quality Ramen in Tantan, Tonkotsu, Tomato Tonkotsu, Spicy Tonkotsu, and a Vegan Ramen served both hot and cold. Occupying a unique spot at 1009 Hamilton St, El Guapo is a casual and fun restaurant/bar where everyone is welcome. As it’s within meters of Seymour Street and they offer a hell of service for the neighbourhood, we decided to feature it on our list today. The patio is lovely and shaded, providing a parallel view of the city in the summer.
The menu features an exciting set of Appetizers, Salads, Handhelds, Mains, signature Tacos and Desserts. Start your meal with their Street Corn Titer Tots made with queso fondu, toasted corn, roasted jalapenos, tomato salsa and cotija cheese. Make sure you try Guapo Burger as their most delicious and famous food. As a Mexican place, the Tacos don’t disappoint. For Instance, Sweet Potato is delicious, consisting of nut mole, crumbled feta, toasted almonds on a corn tortilla. If all these fantastic dishes didn’t make you full and satisfied, try their Homemade Churros for dessert, which is vanilla ice cream and dulce de leche.
The atmosphere is fun and casual, so come down with your buddies and relax on their sunny patio with a margarita. Has nothing planned for the weekend? Their live DJ and welcoming service will liven up your Friday or Saturday night. All ages are welcome to attend. You’ll be happy to know there is a happy hour assigned for some of the meals on the menu, so make sure you try them out.

Japadog is originally a street food vendor chain in Seymour Street Vancouver. JAPADOG’s beginnings can be traced back to an aspirational Japanese couple who moved from Japan to Canada in 2005, intending to open a world-famous food stand. Nothing was simple, but the hotdog stand was finally ready to open on Vancouver’s streets. Since Japadog Robson is their first restaurant location, conveniently situated near Seymour Street, it’s viral in the neighbourhood and further. Tonkatsu, Love Meat, and Croquette are some of the hotdogs you should try for the first time.
Surprisingly, the menu contains a comprehensive list of hotdogs focused on both variety and quality both. The Yakisoba is highly recommended to combine the famous Japanese noodles and Arabiki sausage, making a delightful taste. Japadog is also renowned for its Shaked Fries that are perfected with delicious seasoning. If you are hungrier than usual, order Croquette coming at very generous portions. It’s guaranteed that Japanese croquette (fried mashed potato) and Arabiki sausage will make you full and satisfied.
At this spot, there are multiple seats available both outside and inside. The décor has a unique black theme that makes it enjoyable to sit and enjoy the quality food and service. This place is an attraction for tourists as its worldwide fame is undeniable. The employees are amiable, and they effectively handle many customers, even during rush hours. Chambar’ll welcome you at brunch, lunch and dinner time. Moreover, they’ve got the finest wine, beers and cocktails in the region. For instance, Trappiste beers are made in monasteries by monks and are widely regarded as the finest Belgian beers. They’re all bottle-conditioned, making them the wealthiest and most flavorful beers on the market, and they’re said to be “everything one wants.” I highly recommend trying the Moules Frites for your primary, which comes in three different types. Congolaise comprises mussels, tomato coconut cream, smoked chilli, lime and cilantro.
Chambar has got the most treed patio that is also quite well-shaded in summers and heated in winters. The interior design contains well-organized tables and some exquisite artworks on the wall. The excellent lighting makes it extremely glamorous perfect for anniversaries, birthdays and other special occasions with your loved ones. The pricing is reasonable considering the luxurious service and high-quality food provided. Needless to say, the waiters are quite friendly, professional and they make fantastic meal presentations for you and your party. Consider going there on your next restaurant trip.

Located at 500 Robson St. Bentoya is a Bento Meal restaurant that allows you to build your own food, whether it’s a Japanese meal, Sushi, Korean BBQ or Noodle. If you’re a fan of Asian dishes and live near Seymour Street Vancouver, Bentoya is a must. The place is cozy and to the point and makes for an excellent constant takeout spot. If you don’t have much time cooking yourself and want variety in your diet, try them.
The menu features many exciting items containing only fresh and quality ingredients. Be sure you don’t leave without ordering one of the Donburis. For instance, Gyudon is a bowl of rice topped with thin-sliced beef, onions and poached egg simmered in a mildly sweet sauce. I also highly recommend Bento options that all come with rice and two kinds of side dishes. Angus Beef Short Rib comprises triple-a beef short rib marinated with traditional Korean kalbi sauce.
Bentoya is really affordable compared to its counterparts. They offer fast and efficient delivery and takeout in excellent packaging that keeps your food hot and fresh. The servers are really kind and informative and handle all the inconveniences professionally. It’s a perfect opportunity to visit this hidden gem if you ever come across it.

Lupo, located between Yaletown and the heart of Vancouver’s entertainment district, reflects the vibrant neighbourhood in which it is housed: hip and modern restaurant with a touch of history. Lupo restaurant, which is reasonably priced and sources the highest quality food and wine from BC and Europe, has plenty for everybody. Lupo, close to Seymour Street Vancouver, keeps things distinctly new and cool. Mameli, the restaurant owner, maintains an inviting dining room in front of the home, where chat, sumptuous cuisine, and a hand-selected blend of music reign supreme. Lupo captures the swagger of high-end while keeping the décor, menu, and welcoming service down to earth. Mameli wants visitors to feel comfortable the moment they step in the gates.
The menu is based on classic Italian recipes, but there is a sense of adventure and extravagance. Lupo uses the best local, seasonal ingredients and makes it in-house, from hand-rolled breadsticks to ground sausage to freshly pillowy pasta. Take the calamari in the Spaghetti Nero, for example, which is braised for three hours before being combined with the ink squid pasta, stuffed squid, and tomato soffrito. The extra touches are just a bonus to the quality.
The staff’s aim is for visitors to feel welcomed as soon as they step through the gates. Guests expect good food in a relaxing setting. When the Lupo team designed Lupo, they knew what they liked and how they wanted to be served, so they recreated it for their visitors. Besides, the owner’s enthusiasm for the grape is reflected in the carefully crafted wine list, which emphasizes his preference for Italian and British Columbia favourites.
