Located on 15th St E near Grand Boulevard, Haida Sandwich has offered mouthwatering fast foods to the clients for several years now. This restaurant is a cozy one but still got all the great options as a Haida franchise, making them the best restaurant in the area. The foods available are Pizzas with Persian-style toppings, Sandwiches (cold and oven-roasted), burgers, appetizers, salads, desserts, and soft drinks. There is also an exceptional catering menu for your special occasions for up to 10 persons.
Haida sandwiches are served at a considerable portion, and I dare you to finish them by yourself. The restaurant is also famous for its unique taste of the sauce, making you want to go back once you tried them. Their new Haida Royal Sandwich consists of Beef Sausage, Chicken & Beef Deli, Tomato, Mushroom, Lettuce, Pickle, Cheese, Chipotle and Special Sauce. You’ll be surprised to know there are Potato Sticks in the sandwiches; whoever came up with that idea must be a genius because they feel crispy and quite yummy combined with the other ingredients.
The wide range of toppings is what makes their pizzas unique. Mushrooms, both green and black olives, are masterfully put together on top of pizzas. I highly recommend you to try Haida Special Pizza. Moreover, their Chicken Pizza is said to be one of the most delicious offers. You’ll be glad to know there are Vegetarian Pizza and Veggie Pizza Sandwich available for vegetarians. The staff is super friendly, and they put all their efforts into offering their extraordinary service. But don’t take my word for it. You have to try for yourself once; it won’t be your last time.

No list is perfect without Mediterranean Cuisine. Offering their service since 1996 near Grand Boulevard, Kosta provides an extensive menu of traditional Greek cuisine. Kosta’s restaurant gives moderately priced, fine Greek food in Snohomish County. It is one of the best restaurants that provide their service in all three meals. They also have wines, spirits, and cocktails available if you wish to have them.
Kosta’s specialties include Saganaki, a delicious Greek appetizer, and they make it pan-fried with imported Greek cheese flamed at your table. Other notable foods they serve are Dolmades, Lamb, Moussaka, Greek Steak, Spaghetti Myzithra, fresh Pasta dishes, and Greek salad. Greek salad consists of Feta cheese, Kalamata Olives, Oregano, Onions, Romaine Lettuce, Pepperoncini, and some other ingredients making it more delicious. Chicken Souvlaki comes with a super fresh and crunchy Greek salad, potato, rice, Pita bread, and Taziki Sauce, a lovely and thick sauce. Let’s not forget about creamy Mousaka, which feels like heaven in your mouth.
The atmosphere is one of Kostas’s most exciting things, and the people-patrons and staff alike are exceedingly friendly. The interior design is simple but comfortable with a beautiful greek-style ambiance to give the restaurant a Greek vibe. Mike Sarbakhteh is the head chef with over 30 years of cooking and designing menus for this type of cuisine, and he makes you fall in love with their meals.

North Vancouver needs more restaurants like this, offering fantastic seafood near Grand Boulevard since 2009. This is the most desirable place to get fish. The staff is happy to help, and they know their stuff. They don’t have delivery, but you can order online and then pick up your meals at the restaurant. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very casual and cozy with warm bricks and a cellar-like feel. It has a bar lounge area and a level above for more table seating. The classic ambiance is a wonder, so don’t hesitate to reserve for your special events and private parties.
They might not have the most extensive menu ever, but their foods are all delicious. Sockeye Salmon Wellington is their signature and consists of Cranberry-almond crust in crispy phyllo, pistachio pesto, new potato, and market vegetables. The restaurant cares about your health; hence there are some gluten-free options too. Their Paella is a savoury dish made of Saffron rice, clams, chorizo, mussels, chicken, and prawn. The plating is appealing and well put together. Their appetizers and dessert choices are outstanding too. Make sure you try their Crab cakes for the appetizer having lots of meat without a filler, and Tiramisu and Crème Brulee for dessert.
They have a whole different menu for the Drinks with lots of other choices that go right with your meals. What a fantastic thing, right? Considering the high-quality service they provide, their prices are pretty reasonable, but there’s also a Happy Hour from 4 to 6 pm available for each day of the week.

Go and enjoy food originated from Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and South Tyrol near Grand Boulevard. In 2014, they reopened after taking over this well-established North Shore restaurant from the previous owners, who happily retired after a long and successful 33-year run.
Using a unique design and a great ambiance, they’re trying to bring out a proud European vibe in the restaurant, and they pretty much succeeded. That’s not it; the live music nights make the atmosphere even more compelling. The owner is often found sitting next to the pianist singing German music, but he repeatedly gets up and greets customers as they enter.
Their signature food is Schnitzel, especially Schnitzel Dolce Brusco, which is served with a red currant wine sauce, Späzle & seasonal vegetables. Späzle is a Southern German style Pasta which you can order separately too. They also have specialty coffee drinks served at the bar like Irish coffee, Grog, or their exceptional Jägerhog coffee with Kirsch, Cream de Cacao, and Cherry Brandy. The best drinks from each country are available on the menu; Limoncello from Italy, Akvavit from Denmark, Goldschläger from Switzerland, and many more.

Should there be another Greek restaurant on this list? If it’s as great as Mythos Taverna, then why not! Mythos Taverna has been serving the Grand Boulevard area for decades with high-quality food. The restaurant’s atmosphere is unbelievable and so relaxing. Many Greek-style plants, the décor, and the regional Greek music all make you feel like you’re on vacation in Southern Europe.
On the menu, they have cold and hot appetizers. Octopus is served with Lemon, Olive Oil, Oregano, and Pepperoncini. Spanakopita is another hot appetizer consisting of Spinach and Feta in Filo Dough, and it is yummy. The main foods are all fabulous. Lamb Chops, the highlight of the menu, are juicy and crispy and deserve more recognition. Souvlaki is small pieces of meat that can be ordered separately, too. There are Vegetarian, Seafood, and Pasta meals available on the menu, and they are all tremendous.
As a European restaurant, they don’t come short of Alcoholic drinks. Enjoy their vast selection of wines from all over the world, focusing on BC’s excellent wines. There are also all sets of Beers and Liquors served for the guests. If you’re searching for an exciting alternative to wine or beer, try one of their unique signature cocktails.
Although the place is usually full, the staff is accomodating and try to make your evening as memorable as possible. If you’re looking for a romantic place to go to and want to have great food, take your date here, he/she will never forget about it.

Providing their guests with the most authentic Korean food near Grand Boulevard, they have a reputation of not losing their regulars. They do not have many options on the menu. Subsequently, it enables them to focus on quality.
They specialize in Sundae, which is a type of blood sausage in Korean cuisine. The Sundae soup is excellent, and the Sundae plate itself is even better. Their sundae options get a lot of praise, which are highly deserved but don’t forget about their signature Bibimbab. Bibimbab consists of streamed rice cooked vegetables, and it is made excellently by their experienced chefs. The meals are spicy and chilly yet yummy.
The ambiance is a typical Korean theme setting with Korean servers. The service is provided exceptionally and by pleasant staff. Don’t forget to go early in the evening because there’s usually a wait during prime dinner time. However, don’t worry, you can order online either for a delivery or takeout service.

What a catchy name, right? Well, that’s not the only thing about this restaurant that is catchy. Spicy House has been serving the Grand Boulevard area since 2003. The restaurant serves traditional Korean dishes that remind you of home-cooked food. This Korean cuisine also has a broad range menu.
Despite the name having “spicy” in it, not all meals are spicy here. Almost all meals are served with a rice bowl since it’s the most suitable for Asian foods. Kimchi Jjigae is a Kimchi soup with Tofu, Pork, Rice cake, SPAM, and noodles. Also, Kimchi Bokumbab is one of their special meals. All the meals’ ingredients are mentioned in the menu and also whether they are chilly or not. But how about a little adventure of going with a random dish? You won’t regret it.
The owners are a sweet Korean couple who know how to cook. It’s heartwarming to see them work so passionately and consistently with a smile on their faces.
The restaurant is a cozy and clean place to go with your friends and family and maybe even alone if you’re too hungry.

The signature #28 dragon bowl has a huge fan-base and is as unique as its name; it consists of Teriyaki chicken or tofu, coconut rice, wok-fried vegetables, red cabbage, crispy onion, and spicy yogurt. As the chefs are so experienced in Thai food, they serve the best Pad Thai in North Vancouver. It’s always made hot and fresh, and it’s way cheaper than many Asian restaurants. If you’re fond of spicy eats, I highly recommend you to try this famous noodle soup of Southeast Asia, called Laksa. There are some other options; Japanese noodle dishes like Yakiudon; Chinese dishes like Chowmein and Kung Pao Chicken. Some of the meals are noted to be gluten-free.
The restaurant comes with a Family combo suggested for gatherings of three, four, and five. For instance, the combo for 5 comes with Pad Thai Shrimp, Kung Pao Chicken, Mongolian Beef, Green Curry with Chicken, and five spring rolls and all of that for a price of $50, but if you order all of them separately, it’ll cost you way more.
