Cora Breakfast and Lunch is one of the famous go-to brunch places in North Vancouver. As you walk into Cora’s with your eyes half-open and barely awake, this place really livens you up. There is so much colour splashed all over the wall in cartoonish art pieces that depict the restaurant’s menu choices.

The kitchen is booming, and you can see right into it as they prepare the magic for the day. There are not many interior walls so that you can see right across through the big dining room. All of these elements really help wake you up in the morning. Cora’s menu is huge – providing a wide range of options for people to choose from (great for groups)!

One of Cora’s yummy breakfast dishes is the Seasonal Spring Omelet, which has green apples, cheddar cheese, bacon, and a drizzle of maple syrup. It is served with potatoes, toast, and freshly sliced green apples. Their omelet has a great balance of everything and a nice flavour blend. You will also love the idea that most of their plates come with a generous serving of fruit; they do not skimp out on this part for sure.

The food itself gives a feeling of having homemade food, which you may not get in many chained restaurants. There are so many options to choose from; you really cannot go wrong with anything you pick.

The portions here are huge, and you can rarely actually finish, and you have never left hungry. It also has free refills on coffee. The worst thing about Cora’s is trying to decide what to order because everything is so good!

The staff in this particular branch are hilarious, communicative, and accommodating! I would highly recommend this place to those who want to enjoy a meal with lots of family-related vibes around!

Nice spot for brunches; Bluhouse makes for a wonderful place to grab a sit-down meal, a quick bite, a sweet, a coffee/tea, or a gift for a friend in their built-in market. There’s no guilt to be found with ingredients and no worries to be had with a staff that pays close attention to folks with allergies.

Bluhouse is known for its crepes. They are perfectly made, and there is a great selection of them. They also have a great selection of smoothies that are fruit & vegetable-based as opposed to protein-powder.

One of the most recommended brunch dishes to order in this place is the Fully Loaded Crepe Burrito, made up of quinoa, rice, black bean sauce, mixed greens, cherry tomatoes, cashew cream, salsa, avocado, and cheese.

The prices are really reasonable for the quality of the food, and the quantity is just right. You will leave feeling happy and well-fed without feeling like I had had anything too heavy or like you had had too much. They also sell some canned, jarred, and packaged dry food ingredients at the back of the cafe, and there are a small market area and lots of eco-friendly and natural products.

The decor is comfy and eclectic, with a little store attached that sells local artisan goods and art. From the restaurant in front of the store to the bulk food market just behind, the overall atmosphere is very welcoming and calm. They have lovingly restored the building and have built a nice little business from within.

The service here is incredible; it is a small place, so if you come with a big party, there might be a wait for everyone to get their food right away, but that will not matter once you take your first bite of the food. I would recommend Bluhouse Market & Cafe to anyone looking to eat something great and healthy in a relaxing environment.

Bufala Edgemont restaurant is one of the most famous brunch spots in North Vancouver, serving yummy and delicious brunch dishes tasting like heaven. Once you get there, they put you on a Yelp waitlist to check your place in line lively, which helps try to be patient. Once you get a table, the staff help you decide on their menu, exceptional, like their food.

Some brunch places tend to rush you off at the end of your meal (or sometimes even before that!), especially when they have a line, but Bufala Edgemont does not do that, which is also appreciated.

The menu here is simple but excellent. They benefit from having fresh and high-quality ingredients from the adjacent market. One of the restaurant’s most recommended dishes to order for your brunch is the Capicollo Benedict, made up of two poached farm eggs, smoked pork shoulder, scratch-made hollandaise, arugula salad, rosemary potatoes, and toasted focaccia.

This restaurant has one fantastic vegan option at a very affordable price featuring different veggies and loads of salad options to choose from and breakfast items.

The waitstaff all cooperate in providing instant response to anything you need, so even as crowded as it is, the service is fast and friendly. It also has a fabulous atmosphere inside all customers happy and smiling.

Although it does get pretty busy around lunch and dinner, you should completely understand why it would take a bit longer for my order, but it is definitely worth the wait!

Tommy’s cafe is a little hidden gem in Lynn Valley, North Vancouver. Perfect for a late breakfast before a hike or ride through the north shore trails. Super casual and relaxed atmosphere, large plates, and delicious food.

They have a delightful selection of benedicts, scrambles, waffles, and French toast, plus a unique sandwich menu. There are vegan and vegetarian options too!

This casual family spot has been a local favourite for years with its organic self-serve bottomless coffee selection and hearty brunch options. The coffee is self-serve, it is nice not to have to flag down waitstaff for a refill, and you can try the different brews they have out. They really do not skimp on anything! The self-serve coffee idea is a winner – particularly if you are waiting to be seated on a busy morning.

One of the most recommended brunch dishes to order in Tommy’s Cafe is the Kubin Omelet, which you will thoroughly enjoy with the fresh ingredients of onions, peppers, mushrooms, tomatoes, ham chorizo, jalapenos, mozzarella, and salsa. Reasonable prices and consistently delicious. Local artists display their creations, and they can be purchased if you find one you love.

Always leave satisfied after eating at Tommy’s Cafe. Service is great; waiters help describe items on the menu you are unsure of and even want to the back to get a list of all the beers they have available. Tommy’s is somewhere you could easily miss when walking by because it is in a basement and only has tiny windows set high in the wall.

On the inside, though, this makes the room feel cozy and welcoming. The decor is also hot and inviting. The venue is small, so a large party may not be appropriate here when it is busy, usually because everyone always goes back! Everything about this little place fits so well together, worth the drive across the bridge!

Finally – a great brunch spot in North Vancouver! BLVD is better than all of the other soul food joints in the area. It is hard to show up at the BLVD Bistro and not wait for a table. This small but amazing restaurant is best on a nice day because they also have a back patio that doubles their seating.

Surprising, creative, and amazing food pairings make for unique brunches! The most scrumptious brunch items are available here.

Start at the top of the menu and start ordering. Your tastebuds will guide you, and you shall never be hungry again – until you return, of course.

Located in an obscure area of North Vancouver, one would expect to find such high-quality, creative food. This is a “breakfast and brunch only” establishment, but the one thing they do, they do extremely well. Foods here are locally sourced (free-range eggs), and there are offerings for those with dietary restrictions.

The food is unbelievable, full of flavour and texture, and goodness. Pancakes (sweet or savoury), bennies, the base is potato bread pudding, Rancheros, Buddha Feast bowl, regular bacon and eggs, and unlimited coffee.

Yes, substitutions can be made, or items are taken away, such as eggs, and everyone is so accommodating. Price is fair for what you get, and service is good. Everyone can eat here.

One of the most recommended brunches to have in BLVD Bistro is the Philly Cheesesteak hash, made up of peppers, sliced beef, cheese all dumped over lover roasted potatoes and topped with an egg and creamy white sauce. The pancakes of this place are also BLVD’s signature.

The Pancakes come with a coconut cream sauce, which puts the dish’s taste over the top. This is such a nice departure from the commonplace of using traditional maple syrup (it is on the table for those that cannot stray from what they are used to). The Paella is packed with flavour and texture. The rice had a nice crispness to it, and the trio of pork belly, chorizo, and chicken is so delicious.

The only thing that may have made this dish even better than it already is could have been adding a salsa Verde or something similar. A tiny place but a wonderful breakfast/brunch menu! Spanish/Mexican influence makes for some fantastic and unique selections.

Owner and chef Eric are amiable and takes the time to make you feel very welcome. Well worth the wait – and expect one. Very reasonably priced as well, with the average entree around $12 – 15.

Minimal, intimate setting which does not take reservations and is open 9:00 am – 2:30 pm every day. No hesitation in recommending! The service was excellent and friendly.

Echo Cafe is a hidden hot spot serving fabulous brunch dishes located in North Vancouver. This cafe serves some of the best-baked goods in Vancouver. There are so many baked goods choices to choose from; it is impossible to resist the temptation for more. On top of that, the prices are reasonable with great service and a chic atmosphere to boot.

Cute, spacious cafe in North Vancouver that serves various pastries, sandwiches, tea, coffee, and high tea. Whatever special requests you have, they cheerily fulfill. Highly recommend their breakfast plates — eggs and salad and avocado make a nice combo, and if your timing is exquisite, the cinnamon rolls will just be coming out of the oven.

About ten teas to choose from and are included in the high tea set – the creamy earl grey is very fragrant — order in advance, and enjoy all the little tea sandwiches and sweet munchies.

This cafe is so aesthetically pleasing! The set-up and the decor are all so cute. The place is a comforting mix of rustic and contemporary, feeling modern and airy yet a place where you could claim a corner and settle in for a bit. There is a decent amount of seating, and the cafe has tall ceilings and large windows to help make it light and bright inside; it seems to be a popular spot for studying and meetings.

The service of the Echo Cafe is fabulous, and the staff moves at the speed of light, our orders up in a matter of minutes.

The brunch dishes are simply 5/5 on every level and do not require further discussing- eat here. And so, the food was the reason that kept customers going back for all those years. What more can you ask for?

The Eighties has the most stereotypical brunch food in North Vancouver; it is always exactly what you expect, appreciating, it is worth visiting at least once.

This is the only place on the North Shore that serves affordable, substantial, and traditional North American food. Everything on the all-day restaurant’s brunch menu is amazing, served in generous portions, and all-around good value. So, you must bring a hearty appetite to finish your brunch plate.

One of the most recommended brunch dishes in this restaurant is the Pan-Fries Scramble, made up of two poached eggs on English muffin halves and topped with hollandaise and served with pan-fried potatoes.

They have various menu items like pancakes, waffles, French toast, and omelets. Also, their coffee is of the highest quality. Organic, and they know how to make their coffee well. I always go for the Americano, smooth and tasty. Another brunch you can order in Eighties restaurant is the Savory, cooked with diced onions, mushrooms, served with tomato slices, and topped with hollandaise sauce.

There is no need to worry about food; all of them are made from healthy and fresh ingredients and are cooked hygienically and served to customers. Eighties restaurant has a laid-back, quiet environment, which is nice to have a conversation with whoever you are with.

The restaurant has friendly staff who really get to know returning customers – and most customers do return again and again! This North Shore gem deserves to be shared, and if you ever find yourself waiting on the 14th street, North Vancouver, drop in and try Eighties restaurant – you will not be disappointed, be sure!

If you need a decent place to have healthy and yummy brunch dishes in North Vancouver, here you are; Browns Socialhouse is the best. The easy-going ambiance, good customer service, and just the right amount of privacy.

The washrooms are clean and stocked.

Lots of flat-screen TVs with sports going on, but it is easy to ignore if you want to. They have a good menu, everything from low cal. to burgers and fries, and the ingredients seem very good and fresh.

One of the most recommended brunch dishes to order in Browns Socialhouse is the Corned Beef Hash, made up of two poached eggs, corned beef, red peppers, onions, salsa, hollandaise, and breakfast potatoes.

They prepare high-quality food, and the chef in that spot is a real authority in the kitchen. You can taste good home-style brunches with an upscale twist. The most important thing with restaurants is the taste, and this one is worth a stop if you enjoy comfort food that will not hurt the wallet.

Brown Socialhouse restaurants are now all over the place. Brilliant licensing, because these are flat-out BARS, but they are licensed as ‘restaurants’ and always have a nice area for families, which are welcomed as much as groups of adults. TVs all over the place; every seat has a good view of the game. Seating is intelligently varied–bar stools, raised tables, ordinary-height tables, cozy booths–something for everyone.

Usually, this restaurant is packed during breakfast on weekends, so finding a table during those times may be difficult. However, it slowdowns in the noon, and finding a spot to either get some work done or grab a bite to eat should not be much of an issue in the noon.

The restaurant establishment is neat, and the staff is friendly, and its ambiance is so relaxing and comfortable. You are looking for a memorable brunch experience at a reasonable price; any of the Browns locations will meet your needs. No hesitation in recommending!

If you want to have a decent brunch in North Vancouver, Scratch chicken could be a fabulous discovery. Scratch Kitchen’s menu has a decent amount of selections, and they also offer small dishes for the light eaters. The menu consists of different yummy bennies, breakfast sandwiches, toasts, omelets, pancakes, burgers, pizzas, salad bowls, and unique drinks.

Scratch Kitchen is located in a quaint neighbourhood, and it has a petit outdoor patio facing a paranoiac mountain view. It is modern and minimalistic inside the restaurant, with an open bar serving beer on tap and handcraft cocktails.

Who said you could not eat pizza at brunch? Wake N Bacon is a pizza, but with common toppings, you see in breakfast, such as thick smoked bacon and a sunny side up egg. It uses white sauce and mozzarella blend as the base. The dough also has a good chewy texture—flavorful, moist, and mildly bouncy pizza crust with hints of char for a full flavour crust.

You can also order the restaurant’s recommended dish, Classic Fried Chicken & Waffles, which is probably the best one you have tried in Vancouver for brunch. The deep-fried chicken is first sous-vide, so it remains juicy and tender. The grainy Dijon aioli on the plate is what you will dream for! The ideal way of enjoying the waffles would pour a little bit of the cayenne maple syrup and drench it in the Dijon aioli. It gives a magical, unique taste with sweetness, spiciness, and acidic flavours all in one bite.

The food is filling, fun, wonderfully presented, yet light enough that you do not feel like you need a break before doing anything else (like standing up and walking, for example). Prices are reasonable, food is phenomenal, so the value is top-notch.

Unreal food! You cannot go wrong. Everything is made in-house, and it makes all the difference. Close your eyes and point at the menu; you will not be disappointed. Cozy, laid back room-exactly what the area needed! Eat here and leave very happy and pleasantly full!

A great place for amazing brunch dishes, friendly staff, great food, and nice quantity makes The Workshop Vegetarian Cafe a great place to eat.

The Nama Shoyu noodles have a rich, complex umami mushroom broth, perfect on a cool day. One of the most recommended dishes to order in this place is the Organic Nama Shoyu Ramen, the broth blended mushrooms in it, and the ramen itself has different types of whole and halve mushrooms in it. The ramen noodles are cooked perfectly, and the broth has a really delicious flavour. There are organic mixed-greens on top and truffle shallot oil in it. It all works so well together. The noodles are made in-house and a perfect texture. Ingredients are locally sourced, organic, and seasonally fresh.

The Workshop Cafe also serves one of the best mochas you ever have with a nice presentation in large mugs and a terrific balance of chocolate and coffee, not too sweet at all. Stop in and enjoy some of the many savoury and sweet treats on display, or buy some items like bottled sauces in their small store.

Nice bright space, worth popping by. They also have an adorable marketplace where you can buy a cake in a mug, frozen pastries to bake at home, healthy eats, etc. Prices are fair for the big portions and organic ingredients, and the space is lovely, airy, and bright.

Everyone behind the counter is lovely as well. It is so great to have a place like this on the North Shore. If you guys are meat eaters and want to try something new and comforting, come here and give this place a try, you will seriously enjoy it.

From the feel-good food to the wonderful market on the side showcasing their own handmade goods, as well as other locals’, you will fall in love with this place very quickly.

This eclectic, historical restaurant, nestled away on a side street, is absolutely the best-kept secret in North Vancouver. Tomahawk has the brunch dishes in town, hands down! Homely cozy environment and great food with satisfying milkshakes. It is the ideal place: quiet, subdued, excellent service and the most delicious menu.

It is featured in “You Going to Eat Here!” Chuck, the owner, the same family who has owned the Tomahawk since it was built in the late ’30s, is usually around, and if so, on the cash register to welcome folks as they arrive and confirm their enjoyment upon consuming their choice of servings.

One of the most recommended brunch dishes to order in Tomahawk is the Golden grilled Hash browns, which is topped with a tasty delight of sliced bell peppers, baby spinach, red onions, sauteed mushrooms, vine-ripe tomatoes, and our signature hollandaise sauce, topped with a lightly poached free run egg.

The first thing that strikes you is the decor, truly a 60’s feel here. But once you start reading about the history of the amazing collections of Native Artworks that adorn the whole inside, you will be mesmerized. The decor features a huge collection of antiques and historic First Nations art objects such as wood carvings, painted paddles, and drums, attractively displayed for gazing at while awaiting your order. These items have been collected over a long time, since the original opening about 90 years ago. The result is a unique, historic, and authentic Canadian west coast experience.

Great selection on the menu. Always hard to choose between traditional breakfast or omelet! Another recommended brunch dish is the Chuck Wagon buttermilk pancakes, which are perfectly fluffy and delicious, accompanied with lovely bacon and your choice eggs. Yukon breakfast will satisfy any hungry customer. You must put the Tomahawk on your bucket list.

You will become a regular, but it is the kind of place you always want to take people visiting from out of town, the travelling back in time feeling is that unique.

Tour De Feast is a breath of fresh air in this sad industrial neighbourhood, serving excellent brunch dishes. Down near the bottom of Mountain Highway, bordering the commercial area of lower North Vancouver, this place has a simple modern and unpretentious atmosphere that would appeal to anyone.

This family-run restaurant specializes in French cooking and serves brunch and dinners, which change every week. The decor setting for Tour De Feast is simple, so do not arrive expecting fancy!

It is a tiny restaurant, so for groups of four plus – please make sure you have made a reservation! Everything is cooked and seasoned to perfection and served by knowledgeable and friendly staff. It would help if you struggled to decide what to order because everything looks amazing. They give you a whole pot of tea instead of a cup, and it appreciates that as someone who can put away a lot of tea with a meal.

One of the most recommended brunch dishes to order in this restaurant is the Cassoulet, which comprises two soft poached eggs, organic white navy beans, Weisswurst sausage, and lardon bacon, swiss, confit pork and carrot.

De Feast Cafe is one place where your meals make you feel as if you have consumed a hot bowl of comfort food. It is indeed a hearty breakfast with lots of fresh vegetables, eggs, and a slice of lardon when you break it down.

Honestly, it is much-needed fuel to start the day, and the bonus is that it tastes so darn good too. They have a fantastic price for huge quantities and quality food. Your tastebuds are dancing, everything is superb, and the service is excellent. Dining at Tour de Feast was a really wonderful experience and is worth a visit! No wonder they are in Yelp Canada’s top 100 restaurants for 2018. It is very well-deserved!

Daisy Sandwiches & Such is a hidden gem in North Vancouver, serving fabulous brunch dishes. Daisy Sandwiches & Such is located two blocks south of Marine Drive in an industrial area. Daisy is quaint, inviting, and friendly.

Coming by for a bite to eat is like coming over to your favourite aunts and getting a comforting hug. It is a cute and quaint family-owned restaurant that serves a large variety of delicious foods!

The restaurant also has a charming patio, and the service is quick even though it be a busy brunch time. You can feel the love in this place. From the DELICIOUS food to the warm hugs, Daisy’s Sandwiches is the place to go.

One of the most recommended brunch dishes to order in this place is the Sweet Spicy Candied Bacon and Pulled Pork Omelet, three eggs omelets, with the restaurant’s slow-cooked pulled pork, sweet, spicy candied bacon, red onions, and aged white cheddar topped with a drizzle of sriracha hollandaise.

They have an excellent breakfast and brunch menu with lots of choices – the only downside is it all sounds so good it is hard to choose just one dish; you want to order it all!

The atmosphere of Daisy is uplifting and lovely. The food comes quickly and is fresh, flavorful, and delicious! It also has a welcoming staff, and if you have to wait a minute for a table, they bring you coffee while you stand, and they try to seat you as quickly as possible.

The servers are so friendly and helpful, instead of aloof and disinterested like many places around. It is a breath of fresh air to experience this kind of friendliness and hospitality. It is a place that definitely gets many regulars, and you will quickly become one of them.

Overall, this is an adorable gem of a cafe in North Vancouver. I highly recommend it for breakfast!

When it comes to brunch, The Corner Stone Bistro has a lot to say. This restaurant is located in 22nd St, North Vancouver, with great access to public transportation and parking lots. The Corner Stone Bistro is cute and seems like it is a great staple to the neighbourhood.

The restaurant brunch menu is complete and accommodating with different tastes. The menu is full of healthy and yummy options like different bennies, pancakes, yogurt bowls, hams, and different coffees.

The restaurant also has special brunch dishes for kids, phenomenal, like Grilled Nutella & Banana Sandwich, Eggs Bacon with Hash browns & toast, and Granola Cereal with Strawberries. The patio is set within the cute neighbourhood of Pemberton Heights and is perfect for a quick summer family meal with the intimate setting of a home-cooked meal steps away from the baseball field and school.

Taco nights are a hit with a bucket of coronas and a selection of tacos (including vegan options) or the weekly roasted pizzas that fly out the door. One of the most recommended brunches in The Corner Stone Bistro is the Huevos Rancheros, meticulously baked with healthy ingredients like Tortillas, pepper (not too spicy), smothered in Ranchero sauce, refried beans and cheese, topped with two fried eggs, and fresh avocado. This humble restaurant encompasses the small family business that often lacks the downtown food scene and is the perfect escape on the North Shore for some family-friendly food.

They offer a few grocery items, some candy and frozen treats, cold pop and juice to consume in or out, bakery and deli items, and frozen soups and entrees to take home. Hot meals can also be picked up to take home, and catering is offered.

Prices are surprisingly moderate, considering the very high quality of the cuisine. If you are ever in North Vancouver, especially if you are looking for a brunch joint, The Corner Stone Bistro is a must-visit!
